Between the sea and maquis underbrush, magnificent hiking trails start from the holiday resort.
The Pelusella Tower
Presently in ruins, this tower sits on a headland at the northern tip of the Lava Gulf offering a spectacular view of the entire bay. To get there, you need to reach the extreme northern end of Lava Beach; a well-marked trail cuts through the underbrush to access the tower.
Duration: 1-hour round trip
Le “Sentier des douaniers“ coast guard path
A more difficult hike, the Sentier des douaniers coastal path leads you from the holiday resort to Capo di Feno beach. This primeval beach, cut off from the rest of the world, half-way between the Lava Gulf and Sanguinaires islands, is tremendously popular among Ajaccio residents during the summer months.
The trail leading you there gently winds its way along the coastline. The sunshine is extremely strong in this area and you must remember to bring sufficient quantities of water.
Duration: 5-hour round trip
Several times per week, our group leaders accompany you on hiking trails starting from the holiday resort. More information from the Reception Desk upon arrival.
Located 10 Km from Ajaccio, our holiday resort is nestled in the heart of Corsica’s west coast, near the rocky inlets of Calanques de Piana and the Scandola Marine & Nature reserve listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
